Discover the Christmas Tree Cluster πβ¨
Nestled within the constellation Monoceros, the Christmas Tree Cluster and surrounding SH2-273 nebula form one of the night skyβs most striking celestial landscapes. Glowing clouds of hydrogen gas weave through dark lanes of interstellar dust, while brilliant young stars illuminate the region and give the cluster its familiar Christmas tree shape. Near its northern reaches lies the dramatic Cone Nebula, a towering pillar of cold gas and dust sculpted by the intense radiation of newborn stars.
Located roughly 2,500 light-years from Earth, this vast stellar nursery is an active region of star formation, where new suns continue to emerge from enormous clouds of gas and dust. Brilliant reds, delicate reflection nebulosity, and shadowy structures combine to create a scene that seems almost painted across the stars.
The Christmas Tree Cluster is best visible during the winter months, particularly December through February.
β¨ Product Highlights:
Luminescent aluminum surface
Scratch & fade resistant
Hangs Β½β off the wall (vertical or horizontal)
Comes with a picture hanger on the back of the metal print ready to hang
πΎ Every purchase supports animal rescue effortsβyour art makes a difference.
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
